My Trainings
Let’s Nerd Out.
What Therapy Means to Me
I’ve dedicated Over a decade to advanced training in trauma, attachment, and relational healing.
I’ve always been endlessly curious about the human experience. Psychology and therapy have long been my passions - even in my undergraduate studies, I essentially earned a double major in psychology by taking twice the number of required classes.
When you work with me, you’re working with a highly informed, deeply trained, and creative therapist who brings passion, precision, and presence to your care. I see therapy as my craft, my calling, and a great joy - a space where intellect, compassion, and creativity meet.
I regularly consult with senior practitioners across multiple disciplines, both within and beyond traditional psychotherapy. This allows me to offer a holistic and integrative perspective on healing - one that honors your mind, body, and spirit.
I believe it’s essential that I truly understand how you feel - both in your life and also in sessions. Having experienced these modalities directly under the guidance of senior practitioners, I can empathize with what these approaches are like as a client, and adjust my approach to support you most effectively.
In addition to my more secular training, I also enter our relationship with years of formal Buddhist study, meditation practice, and retreat experience, which ground me in presence and compassion no matter how intense or confusing your inner world may feel.
I’m committed to becoming the best therapist I can be - not only for my clients, but because I genuinely love the process of learning and mastery. Therapy is a living craft to me; one that grows richer and more effective with every year of study and practice.
My next professional development journey will take place this winter, as I complete EMDR 2.0 — a cutting-edge advancement that brings one of the most powerful, evidence-based trauma therapies to even greater heights.
So, what are all these trainings I’m talking about?
